Who am I?

I'am Ada Krowinkel and for a very long time already 'in art'. After a short period at Art School St. Joost, I choosed my own path. My paintings are colourful and expressive, this will always be the case. It's my signature, it's me. Colors, forms which I see, I'll translate them into a new world, my reality. You can see that in many forms from abstract, flowers to figures in strange outfits and animals on high heels. Why? I just don't know.

I do shows on a regularly basis, as well in groups and as solo. My work was on show in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Breda, Zutphen) and abroad (New York, Bethlehem, Dresden, Paris, Beijing, Istanbul). I have worked as an artist-in-residence in Breda and in Bethlehem where I visualide the paintings of poet Mahmoud Darwish on the separation wall that runs through town.

I give painting workshops, participate in art projects. I write articles about art and stories of nowaday's life, always from a different point of view.

My work is in the Van Abbe museum in Eindhoven and many artlovers in the Netherlands and aboard.
